Collecting all three Skulls in the Boarding Action campaign mission in Halo: Campaign Evolved requires you to navigate back through previously explored areas, clearing out hidden waves of enemies, or waiting for specific doors to open.

Requirements and Gameplay Modifiers

Before starting, keep a few mechanics in mind. If you want to make your run much easier while searching for Skulls, you can adjust your custom damage modifiers in the game menu in Halo: Campaign Evolved

Navigate to gameplay settings and modify preset 01. Max out your shields, damage resistance, output damage, and ammo clips.

The Malfunction Skull requires a brief backtrack through the ship after a major battle in Halo: Campaign Evolved

Progress through the mission until you reach the first encounter with the Hunters. Eliminate the Hunters, then proceed past their arena and loop back toward the main area of the Hangar.

Follow the path until you reach a walkway overlooking the initial spawn room. You will find the Malfunction Skull sitting directly on this elevated walkway.

How to Get the Johnny Ammo Seed Skull

The Johnny Ammo Seed Skull is tied to an upper catwalk area that becomes accessible after visiting Sergeant Johnson.

Early in the level, you will enter the Elite training arena. Clear out all enemy forces in the room, then proceed to the location where Sergeant Johnson is waiting. Pass by Sergeant Johnson and re-enter the previous room, which now puts you on the previously inaccessible upper catwalk.

Move along this path to trigger a spawn of gold and active-camo Elites. Defeat all of these Elites, and the Johnny Ammo Seed Skull will be yours to collect.

How to Get the Leadhead Skull

The Leadhead Skull requires waiting for a specific door to unlock during an objective in Halo: Campaign Evolved

Advance through the mission until you enter a room featuring a central lift that Johnson must activate. Look to the left side of the room for a door that remains sealed until enemy reinforcement waves arrive.

Wait for the Covenant forces to burst through this door, then clear them out and step inside. Follow the short path to the end, where the Leadhead Skull is sitting right beside the locked door.
