Defense Supporting the Magia Charm.

At the beginning of the game, go to the Ashen Pass region of Azuria. On the main route, there is a blue treasure chest that has the recipe to the Magia Charm Hunting Horn in Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection.

The required materials can be easily collected by picking fish and wandering around the lake. If you are a player who likes raw damage and power, then you can choose the Frozen Speartuna to end fights with nothing but brute force.

Status Effects using Felyne Bow.

Go Westward in Azuria to Broadleaf Basin and there is a giant tree. There is a chest before the tree where Felyne Bow recipe can be found.

The peculiarity of this bow is that it has different coatings to weaken enemies. You can use the Darkness to miss monsters, Paralysis to prevent any action of the opponents, or you can use the Attack Down and Accuracy Down to reduce their effectiveness on the battlefield.

In order to make this bow, you have to hunt Barrel Felynes. These animals can be seen walking across the open world or within Dens particularly when it is dark.
