Hino-Enma is a boss you will find deep within the caves of Maisaka. To reach her, head to the southwest region and navigate through the winding cavern system.

The path can be a bit of a maze, but if you keep pushing through, you will eventually find a Shrine. From there, you just need to drop down into the arena to begin the battle. While you can fight her using any style, following a simple pattern makes this encounter much easier.

The Strategy for Success

Whether you play as a Ninja or a Samurai, the best way to win is to keep your distance. If you stay far away, Hino-Enma will often try to hit you with energy orbs or projectiles. Just keep moving and dodge these.

Eventually, she will use a Burst Attack where she glows red and dashes across the room toward you. This is one of the easiest moves to time in the game in Nioh 3.

When you see her light up, move toward her to make sure you are in range and use your Burst Break to counter her. Once she is stunned, go in and land your hits.

Exploiting Vulnerabilities

This boss is very easy to stagger if you use the right moves. Heavy attacks are your best friend here. If you are a Ninja, try using Claws and focus on getting behind her after a parry to land two or three heavy strikes.

If you are a Samurai, the same idea applies to your weapon of choice. These heavy hits drain her Ki extremely fast. If you break her Ki completely, she will fall down, allowing you to perform a powerful finishing blow in Nioh 3.

You can wait for her dash every time to be safe, or you can hit her hard to end the fight quickly. Just be patient, wait for the right moment to counter, and she will go down easily.
