It can be hard to finish the Ceremony quest because the game doesn't make it clear how to leave. You could spend some time lost in thought while you try to figure out what to do next.

Finding the Exit

To leave the area, you need to look for a specific character. Walk up to the Spirit Dragon standing nearby. He is the key to finishing this part of the mission in Nioh 3.

Once you are close to him, hold down the button to proceed. This will open up a menu where you have to select a form.

Listening to Nekomata

After you make your choice, Nekomata will start talking. He will mention that you will have a reason to come back here later. Do not try to run away yet.

You have to wait for him to finish everything he has to say. Once the dialogue ends, the quest will officially close, and you will be able to leave in Nioh 3.
