You will run into the Gentle Thief while exploring, and he has a test for you. He wants proof that you met his partner, the Nimble Thief, before the man died.

Since the Gentle Thief cannot read, he will ask you three specific questions about the man's past instead of checking the note himself in Phantom Blade Zero.

You actually get the answers from an item called the Blood Letter from the Nimble Thief. You pick this up right after defeating the Nimble Thief near the Outlaw Trap bell.

Talk to the Gentle Thief to trigger the dialogue. He will ask you three questions in a row. Pick these exact dialogue options in Phantom Blade Zero.

When the thief asks, “What did he do at thirteen that he never stopped bragging about?” Your answer should be “Stole a landowner's jade belt.”

After that, the thief will ask, “The hairpin that doomed him for life. Do you know what its head looked like?” To that, you have to respond with “Butterfly”.

Finally, the thief will ask, “Do you know what became of that poor family's child?” You’ll have to respond with “The letter never said. His fate is unknown.”

Once you give the third correct response, the Gentle Thief believes your story and hands over your reward.

You receive the Silent Wrap accessory. Equipping this piece cuts the sound of your footsteps and assassinations by 40%.

While outright stealth is not required for most fights in Phantom Blade Zero, cutting down your noise helps you clear out packs of roaming guards one by one before they alert the rest of the camp in Phantom Blade Zero.
