In Pokémon Legends: Z-A, you can enhance your Pokémon’s strength through Mega Evolution. One of the key items that allows this transformation for Charizard is the Charizardite Y.

This guide explains where to find the Mega Stone and how to use it effectively during battle.
How to Get Charizardite Y
You can obtain Charizardite Y by purchasing it from the Stone Emporium located in Lumiose City. The shop offers several Evolution-related items, including Mega Stones, which can be bought for ₽100,000 each.

Simply visit the vendor and choose Charizardite Y from the list of available items. Once purchased, it will appear in your inventory under held items.
How to Use Charizardite Y
The Charizardite Y allows Charizard to Mega Evolve temporarily during battle. To use it, first equip the Mega Stone to Charizard through your inventory.

Once equipped, you can activate Mega Evolution when your Mega Power gauge is filled. During battle, press the Right Analog Stick to trigger the transformation.
Mega Evolving changes Charizard’s base stats and abilities, granting it enhanced combat performance until the battle ends. After the fight, Charizard will revert to its normal form, and the Mega Stone remains equipped for future use.
