Game Data

Mega Steelix is a Steel/Ground-Type Pokémon that stays that way even after Mega Evolution. It becomes much more durable when it Mega Evolves, putting more emphasis on defense and endurance in battle.

Like other Mega Evolutions, Mega Steelix requires a Pokémon capable of holding the appropriate Mega Stone during battle. The process of Mega Evolution lasts only for the duration of the fight, reverting the Pokémon to its normal form afterward.
