Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Guide | Where To Find Tinkatink And Evolve It Into Tinkaton
Catch Tinkatink near early ruins, then evolve it into Tinkatuff and Tinkaton through leveling.
Game Guide by Jubair Baky on Feb 28, 2026
If you want a strong Fairy- and Steel-type line that fits both story progress and battles, Tinkatink is a smart pick. It spawns around ruins, so the best approach is to head for the closest low-level ruin spot first.
Once you catch it, the rest is simple. You only need to level it up to reach its final form, Tinkaton.
Where To Find Tinkatink
Tinkatink appears in a few habitat spots, but they are all tied to ruins. The closest location with the lowest-level spawns is a set of ruins near a town. It is also very close to the main city, which makes it an easy stop early on.
Travel to the ruins area, scan the ground around the broken stone structures, and you should spot Tinkatink moving around the site.

How To Catch Tinkatink Fast
Once you reach the ruins near the town, keep your camera angled outward so you can see small movement around the stones. When you see Tinkatink, start the encounter right away and catch it. Because this is a low-level area, it is a good place to grab one early without needing long travel or high-level battles.

How To Evolve Tinkatink Into Tinkatuff
After you catch Tinkatink, level it up to 24. When it reaches level 24, it evolves into Tinkatuff. You can do this through regular battles, or speed it up with experience items if you want the evolution quickly.
How To Evolve Tinkatuff Into Tinkaton
Keep leveling Tinkatuff until it reaches level 38. At level 38, it evolves into Tinkaton.

This is the final evolution, so once you hit that level, the line is complete and ready for the rest of the game.
