Unlock Secrets in the Mirrors

Before you can reach the Residential Wing, unlock the Secrets in the Mirrors ability by completing the second Turning Pillar Puzzle in the Convent.

Once you have this ability, return to Villa Ashmann and start following Agata through the mirrors. The mirrors reveal hidden doorways and passages that let you travel between rooms.

Continue examining the mirrors as you move through the villa. Follow the newly revealed routes through the Room of Wonders, the upper rooms, and the Library until you eventually reach the Art Gallery.

Find the Secret Room Behind the Fireplace

Inside the Art Gallery, use Secrets in the Mirrors on the mirror to reveal a hidden passage through the fireplace. Crouch and crawl through the opening to enter a dark room.

You will find several objects to investigate inside. Examine the objects around the room and use Retrocognition where prompted. Continue investigating until you trigger the scene that rewards you with the Crown Key.

The Crown Key is required to unlock the exit beneath the red light in the same room. Find the locked door directly below the light and use the key to open it.

Enter the Residential Wing

After leaving the secret room, you will find yourself outside in the narrow passage between Villa Ashmann and the Residential Wing. The main entrance to the Residential Wing is locked, so you cannot enter through the front door.

Instead, head forward and look towards the left side of the building. You will find a pile of sacks near the wall. Interact with the sacks to trigger a short cutscene.

Once the cutscene finishes, Susan will have made her way into the Residential Wing. You can now begin exploring this new section of Villa Ashmann.

Important: Entering the Residential Wing prevents you from returning to the main villa for a considerable portion of the story. Make sure you have collected any documents, memories, or other optional items you still want from the original villa before interacting with the sacks.
