The Scorned Wilderness is the endgame raid area introduced with RuneScape: Dragonwilds 1.0. Unlike earlier regions, it is not another standard open-world biome. You access it through the Dragon Gate in the Fractured Plains after completing the required main-story progression.
Scorned Wilderness Entrance
Travel to the northwestern side of the Fractured Plains, near Velgar's Rise. This section of the map previously contained a blocked-off area that hinted at future content, and it now serves as the approach to the Dragon Gate leading into the Scorned Wilderness.
Complete Icthlarin's Little Helper
You cannot enter the Scorned Wilderness simply by reaching the gate. Complete Icthlarin's Little Helper and finish the preceding Umbral Sands story progression first. Once those requirements are satisfied, interacting with the Dragon Gate begins Regicide, the final quest of Kuldra's Saga.
Enter the Dragon Gate
Cross the bridge near the northwestern Fractured Plains and approach the Dragon Gate. Interact with it once Regicide is available and choose to enter the Scorned Wilderness.
The route beyond the gate eventually leads to Rasthin's Rest, where Commander Zilyana is waiting. This area acts as the safe hub for the raid and allows building, so establishing a Lodestone here makes repeat trips much easier.
Start the Scorned Wilderness Raid
Speak with Commander Zilyana at Rasthin's Rest when you are prepared. From there, the raid sends you through the fragmented wilderness toward Kuldra, the God-Eater.
Unlike the Hub, the main raid area restricts normal building and crafting, so prepare your equipment, tools, food, and supplies before progressing deeper.
Go northwest of Velgar's Rise, through the Dragon Gate at the end of Icthlarin's Little Helper, and start Regicide to reach the Scorned Wilderness.
