Remember those difficult statues when chasing the Nanomonster? Well, if you had problems destroying them you're in a world of hurt now. If you got accustomed to defeating them then you're going to have an easy time with Goddess Helena.

Goddess Helena is just a supercharged statue. Its attack pattern is largely the same and if you have the GAIA Spear, this will be much easier. First off, use a heavy attack to destroy the shield and start attacking the left arm that holds its weapon. The shield will sometimes recharge but as long as you remain in close proximity it'll rarely use its shield.

Helena will use basic swipes and lunging attacks that can be easily evaded by dodging left or right. If it uses its laser, get close to it and it'll stop. As always, your drone can be used to cause major damage but the EMP won't have any effect.

The reason you can take target the arm is to take the spear, Twinlance of Corruption is one of the best weapons in the game and if you don't get it here you can never obtain it.
