Call of Duty: Black Ops Revealed; Due November 9th

Activision this morning launched a teaser site for the next Call of Duty game called Call of Duty: Black Ops. Although the initial site revealed little information other than the game's launch date of November 9, 2010, Activision soon followed with a press release stating that the game will take players behind enemy lines with covert operations. The publisher claimed that the Treyarch developed shooter will feature single player, co-op, and online competitive modes. Several sites quickly noted that UK retailer GAME's website contained a product description for the game reading:

"Call of Duty Black Ops is the next installment in the thrilling Call of Duty franchise. Packing an amazing single-player story that will see you fight across the globe in locations such as Cuba, Vietnam and the Arctic."

While that description has since been pulled, it seems obvious that the rumored Vietnam setting will be at least a part of the experience of the new Call of Duty game. A full reveal of the game is expected to occur tonight on Spike's GTTV show. Those who don't get the channel can watch the show soon after it airs on Gametrailers.com.
