E3 2010: PlayStation Move
News by Logan Smithson on Jun 16, 2010
If you haven't heard by now, The Move is Sony's introuduction to the world of motion control gaming. Every company wants to join in, so what makes Sony's device different? Although it looks very similar to the Nintendo Wii's set-up, they will have a few differences, gameplay wise. The obvious things between these are the HD graphics that will be available with the PS3, and also being able to play Sony exclusives like Socom 4 and LittleBigPlanet 2. But something that might be overlooked is the fact that Move incorporates the PS3 Eye, meaning some games may challenge you to interact with things in the room other than just the wand.
The PlayStation Move wand will cost $49.99 by itself. The navigation controller will cost $29.99 on its own. You will be able to purchase the Move wand, PlayStation Eye and Sports Champions bundled together for $99.99. If you still need a console to play on, you can get the Move, the PlayStation Eye, Sports Champions and a PS3 bundled together for $399.99. The PlayStation Move will be available September 15, 2010 in Europe; September 19, 2010 in the United States; and October 21, 2010 in Japan.
