Ghost Of Tsushima was one of the best games on the PlayStation and recently a director's cut was listed on the ESRB. Now it has been confirmed and it's coming to PS4 and PS5.
This version will include new content with Jin traveling to Iki Island to investigate Mongrol's presence and force him to relive traumatic moments from his past. It'll be accessible after Act 2 of the main game. This is an entire DLC expansion that will come with trophies and PS4 versions of the game.
Other upgrades include for PS5 versions:
Fixed JP lip sync
DualSense Support
3D Audio improvements
4K options
60FPS options
Those with the PS4 version can transfer all data to the PS5 version. PS4 owners can upgrade to the director's cut for $19.99 but those with the PS4 version of the director's cut and want the PS5 will need to spend an additional $9.99. Those wanting to upgrade from the base version PS4 version to the PS5 director's cut will need to spend $29.99.
Sucker Punch has also confirmed that the free multiplayer will get more content in the future.
Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut launches this August 20th for PS4 and PS5.
