Hawkeye Coming to Marvel's Avengers After Launch

Today, Crystal Dynamics released more information about Marvel’s Avengers as promised. Confirming that Hawkeye will join the game as the first DLC character

No gameplay was provided, just CGI, but the character will be taken from the series written by Matt Fraction. Hawkeye will fight with the Avengers but will also have his own story missions that can be played alone with cooperatively.

The beta will not include Hawkeye since he'll release after the game goes public. The beta is set to start next month with PS4 players getting first access. Players can try out the 4 main heroes including Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, and Hulk.

The beta times will be as follow:

August 7 - PlayStation preorder beta access begins

August 14 - Xbox and PC Preorder beta access begins, PlayStation open beta also begins

August 21 - Open beta across all platforms begins

Marvel’s Avengers is set to launch in a little over a month on September 4 for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia. PS5 and Xbox Series X will launch with free upgrades provided.
