New Left 4 Dead DLC

Despite there being a sequel, the first Left 4 Dead is set to see another downloadable content pack.

Valve has announced the campaign, called The Sacrifice, will be playable on both Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 (though with the original survivors) and will include the No Mercy campaign from the first.



The campaign will be the lead-up to the Left 4 Dead 2 downloadable campaign The Passing and will detail how one of the survivors sacrificed themselves to save the others. However, players will get to choose who sacrifices themselves, rather than the preselected character in The Passing.

The Sacrifice will be free on PC and Mac and cost some points on Xbox 360. It will be released sometime in October.
