Nintendo and Team Ninja unveil new Metroid

During Nintendo's E3 press conference it was revealed that Metroid was making a return to the Wii with Metroid: Other M, courtesy of Team Ninja.

The Ninja Gaiden developer appears to be putting their own action-packed spin on the classic Nintendo franchise, with a vague 2010 release date.

The trailer that accompanied the announcement showed several different aspects of the game, including close-quarters combat and a first-person view.

Unlike any other Metroid game before it, Samus will also have a voice.
