OnLive One Step Closer

OnLive, the company behind a gaming-on-demand system that is out to reshape the gaming world; are one huge step closer to making that a reality by securing crucial and substantial funding.

While Steve Perlman, founder and chief executive of the company, would not reveal any specific figures, he said it was a “large investment at a large valuation,” which is pretty impressive considering they are still yet to make a cent in revenue.

The technology found in OnLive is said to be somewhat simple, yet revolutionary, and will challenge Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft in their pursuit of console supremacy.

It is expected that the service will see some form of live beta this year.
