Part 1 of Fable II Episodes now on Xbox Live

The first of Fable II's five episodic chunks has found its way to the Xbox Live Marketplace.

 

The first portion is offered completely free of charge. The equivalent of a demo, players will have to pay for the remaining four portions of the game, which unlocks the game's online features and achievements. The other portions will be offered at a later date.

 

First revealed at GamesCom in August, Fable II Episodes is a digital re-release of the award-winning 2008 Xbox 360 title.

 

In addition, Fable II: Game of the Year edition hit European shores on Sept. 18 for €64.99/£39.99. The two pieces of downloadable content, "Knothole Island" and "See The Future," are included in the package.
