As people get more excited, one of the most talked-about anime versions is about to become a video game, and the energy is electric. The game is called Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE and is based on a popular anime and webtoon series. It will be available on PC through Steam on November 24, 2025. In 2026, console models for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S are planned to come out, taking the experience beyond PCs.
Solo Leveling: ARISE is a free-to-play mobile game, but this new game is being marketed as a full-fledged, $40 action-RPG with a "buy once" system instead of one based on "gacha" mechanics. The creators stress that this is a completely separate project with its own personality that was made for both PC and console. The game has deep action features, a skill tree system for the main character (Sung Jin-woo), and four-player co-op raids, among other things.

ARISE OVERDRIVE tries to bring the anime's style and speed of battle to life through its graphics and controls. The aiming, evasion, and parry systems will be improved, Jin-woo and his shadow hunters will be able to be customized, and players will be able to make weapons based on the original story.
The goal was to make it feel like you were playing in the world of the webtoon, not just changing it.
Even with this promise, first thoughts aren't very clear. While gameplay parts show off cool combos and co-op features, some reviewers complain about problems with the AI, the UI, and the chance of having to grind over and over again. These early criticisms are common for big changes, and they tell players to keep their hopes up but not get too excited.
People are already talking about how much the game is worth because of how it is priced and the different versions that come with it. For example, PC digital discounts have shown up, with some storefronts offering deals like 18% off pre-orders. However, prices may change depending on where you live. Deluxe editions come with extra material related to the story, early access, and clothing and cosmetic items.
What should you remember? If you like the Solo Leveling series and want a story-driven action RPG with co-op features, this game looks like it will live up to your expectations. It won't be able to replace AAA hits that were built from the ground up, but it's a great way to get into the world. The PC version is coming out soon, so mark your calendars. If device support comes in 2026, the wait might be worth it.

Keep an eye on reviews and input that comes out after the game comes out, especially about the console versions and patch support. You'll be one of the first people to join the devil's army and become the Monarch of Shadows if you buy it early.
