The publishers list of releases this year are heading to Steam, reported by the developer earlier. The April 9 PC release of Last Remnant is set to be Square Enix's debut game to be sold by the online distributor. Future plans include increasing the amount of games available from Square Enix on Steam in the near future.

President and CEO of Square Enix John Yamamoto says that "Square Enix is committed to delivering the best quality titles to PC gamers and distribution on Steam is one of the many steps we are taking to increase accessibility for fans in North America and PAL territories." Its very possible that the MMORPG Final Fantasy XI will also be brought over to Valve's online shop, along with any further expansions.
