StarCraft II - New details about Hearts Of The Swarm

Heart of the Swarm will be a new title or just an expansion? In a recent interview to the MTV's blog, the  executive vice president for Blizzard's game design, Rob Pardo, brought new details about the second part of the trilogy consisting Wings of Liberty (already launched), Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void .

 

Among other things, Brown said it is difficult to maintain the same structure as the single player campaign Wings of Liberty for the remaining races. "We really want to make every experience of race is real and interesting - so there should be similarities and news that give meaning to every race," said the executive.

 

 

 

Regarding Hearts Of The Swarm, Brown hopes a campaign mode with several different outcomes, which depend solely on player choices. This should also make room for side missions and, consequently, additional chapters within the main plot. Finally, in response to questions regarding Hearts of the Swarm, Brown said: "From the standpoint of a single player, the feeling will be a sequel" - which confirms the above information. "There will be very meaningful content." About multiplayer, the executive said that the similarity with an expansion pack will be great. "We will not send any new races. Certainly there will be additions to the multiplayer, but it will be like an expansion, "explains Pardo.

 

Hearts Of The Swarm is currently in the early stages of development. Of course, nothing has been said so far about a possible release date. Stay tuned!
