Successfully Kickstarted and Greenlit in January of this year, Long Night is a survival horror game from the indie developer Trickster Face, bringing together elements from Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Haunting Ground and Clocktower.

From a third person view, players control a teenager, David, as he and his friends are hanging out on a summer night. Soon this group of teens will face their most insane fears, and David will have the chance to change everything to save his friends. To help his friends, David must fight their darkness by looking into their private lives, analyzing their psyches and battling "their nightmarish embodiment[s] in surprising boss fights!"
Trickster Face has revealed that Long Night will release as "a video game series" with three episodes releasing throughout the year. The developers said, "We made this decision to improve the quality of the game." This will include more content, improved performance and a more realistic feel to the game. Trickster Face has also revealed an illustration for the first episode, seen above.

The first episode titled "Alone I Break" will release in early June with the next two episodes releasing before the end of the year. Long Night will be available first for PC, Mac and Linux, and later on it will release on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live.
