The Darkspore Finally Land!
News by Daav Daavpuke on Apr 26, 2011
It’s finally here, the unshippable game! Well, not unshippable, but at least delayed upon delayed; Darkspore from EA is finally out today for everyone to tinker with. After a load of Betas with people crying it’s all just about “looting stuff,” I can finally go spend a billion hours customizing my Living Weapons, instead of actually playing.
This is only the tip of the awesome iceberg on Darkspore. It also kills things.
Darkspore is a semi-sequel from Maxis’ previous smash hit Spore, that allowed players to customize a creature to evolve and whatnot. But Darkspore only keeps the creator aspect and chucks everything else out the window, to replace it with awesome killing and stuff. Yes, I’m that eloquent. Still, fans of action RPGs like Diablo and Torchlight and such can and should rejoice that this novel take on hacking and slashing is finally out.
I’ve already said my piece in our preview from way back, but since then the game has only grown even larger! It’s mutating out of control, so welcome your new overlords, before they trample us all.
