XCOM: Enemy Unknown Slingshot Pack Coming Soon

2K Games and Firaxis Games have announced that XCOM: Enemy Unknown will support two single-player add-on packs: the Elite Soldier Pack and the Slingshot Content Pack.

The Elite Soldier Pack was free to those who pre-ordered or purchased the game at launch and is now available to buy on PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 for $4.99 (PC/PS3) or 400 MSP (Xbox 360). The Elite Soldier Pack includes a classic X-COM solider, soldier deco packs, and complete color customization(of armor sets).

The Slingshot Content Pack's release date and price will be announced soon.

The Slingshot Content Pack is not yet available but the price and release date will be announced soon. It will include three new maps that will be tied to a set of Council missions where players fight with aliens over the skies of China, alter an alien ships path, and meet a mysterious Triad operative. The content pack will also include a new playable squad character with new character customization options, a unique story, and a unique voice.
