Evaluate skills based on impact to moment-to-moment gameplay and use this complete review of the ARC Raiders skill tree to select the best early-game passives and to allocate resources through the mid and late game. Treat these as recommendations, since every play style differs.
A data-mined achievement titled Legend of Speranza likely indicates a max level of 75 at launch, giving you 75 points to work with. With that context, the following path prioritizes stamina economy, fieldcraft, carry weight, and looting speed to keep you alive and lethal in every encounter.
Early Mobility Foundation: Stamina First
Begin in the Mobility tree with Nimble Climber, which lets you climb and vault more quickly. This is mainly a connector to two early stamina perks on the left side.
Take Marathon Runner, so moving around costs less stamina, then invest five points in Youthful Lungs to increase maximum stamina. Early-game stamina limitations can be frustrating, but these two significantly smooth traversal and fights.

Survival Start: Fieldcraft On Topside
Drop to the Survival tree for an essential early unlock. Take Agile Croucher to increase movement speed while crouching, followed by Revitalizing Squat to increase stamina regeneration while crouched.
Use these to reach In-Round Crafting, which unlocks fieldcrafting while topside, including items like Bandages and Shield Rechargers that are extremely valuable early.
Mobility Follow-Up: Notables and Traversal Quality-of-Life
With In-Round Crafting active, return to Mobility and finish Marathon Runner. After investing 11 points here, you can grab two notable passives with just four more points.
First, unlock the paths by taking Slip And Slide to slide further and faster and Sturdy Ankles to take less fall damage from non-lethal heights. Allocate the last two passive points where preferred; Nimble Climber remains a solid comfort pick.
Then take the notables: Calming Stroll regenerates stamina while walking as if standing still, which is powerful everywhere, and Carry The Momentum lets sprinting cost no stamina for a short time after a sprint dodge roll, with an internal cooldown. For one extra point, it’s an easy quality-of-life grab.
Survival Momentum: Looting Speed and Quiet Movement
Head back to Survival and build toward your first pinnacle. Invest five points in Looter’s Instincts so loot reveals faster when searching containers, improving efficiency and helping you get in and out of high-tier zones quickly.
Connect to the next notables by unlocking Silent Scavenger, which reduces noise while looting, and place three points each into Agile Croucher and Revitalizing Squat to reach the 15 points needed.
The notables are both useful: Suffer In Silence makes movement quieter while critically hurt, helping escapes and repositioning, while Good As New increases stamina regeneration while under a healing effect. Together, they create a strong loop of silent disengage plus rapid recovery.

Encumbrance Power Spike: Carry More, Slow Down Less
Push into some of the strongest passives in the entire tree. Broad Shoulders increases maximum carry weight, a near must-have in any extraction shooter, as it directly raises how much you can bring back to Speranza.
Pair it with Stubborn Mule, which reduces the stamina regeneration penalty when over-encumbered. Take five points in both to enable heavier kits and greedier looting routes. Pick up Traveling Tinkerer to unlock additional items for fieldcraft later; even without a full list, access for one point is too efficient to skip.
Looting Powerhouse: Faster Reveals, Faster Heals
Invest five points in Looter’s Luck, which can reveal twice as many items at once while looting. Unlike Looter’s Instincts, this also applies to looting enemy raiders, letting you find crucial heals mid-fight faster.
To reach your pinnacle, you need three more points; put at least one point in each of the remaining connectors and a second in whichever you prefer.
One Raider Scraps offers a small chance to find field-crafted items in raider containers, while Three Deep Breaths helps you recover stamina more quickly after an ability drains it—excellent when dodge-rolling away from threats like a Rocketeer.
First Pinnacle Choice: Security, Not Mines
Select a pinnacle in Survival. Mind Sweeper allows diffusing mines and explosive deployables when close, which can be situational due to common trap placements like zipline tops or behind closed doors, where line of sight is limited.
Security Breach lets you breach Security Lockers found in key rooms or behind breachable doors to access additional high-rarity items you would otherwise miss. The reliable payoff makes Security Breach the stronger pick for most runs.

Don’t Over-Commit: Balanced Path Beats Risky Pinnacles
Avoid chasing multiple pinnacles too early. For Mobility, Vault Spring enables a jump at the end of a vault, which is potentially strong in PvP, but the results are uncertain.
Vaults On Vaults On Vaults removes the stamina cost of vaulting, but requiring 36 Mobility points means sacrificing Survival’s economy and carry-weight spikes.
In Conditioning, Fly destroys Wasps and Turrets with one melee, which is niche given their positioning, while Back On Your Feet regenerates health while critically hurt, but depends on unknowns like interruption on damage, regen amount, and speed.
With unpredictable value and no reset for eight weeks outside of the expedition project, a balanced spread offers safer, more consistent power.
Conditioning Mid-Game: Shield Comfort and Dodge Efficiency
From Security Breach, route into Conditioning and max Used To The Weight over five levels, so a worn Shield slows you less, aligning with mid-game access to higher-rarity craftable shields.
Return to Mobility for Effortless Roll to reduce dodge roll stamina cost and Heroic Leap to extend sprint-dodge roll distance.
Alternatives such as Crawl Before You Walk for faster downed crawling, a perk that prevents vaulting from slowing while exhausted, Off-The-Wall for longer wall leaps, and Ready To Roll for a wider recovery-roll timing window are decent, but the left-side stamina synergy remains the strongest overall.
Conditioning Notables: Stamina Refunds When It Matters
Finish Conditioning. Take Blaster to lessen hearing impact from nearby explosions, mainly as a connector to Fight or Flight, which refunds a fixed chunk of stamina when hurt in combat.
Max Fight or Flight to five points for immediate stamina when you need it most. Then take Gentle Pressure to make less noise when breaching, and invest three points in Proficient Pryer to reduce breaching time for doors and containers.
The notable Survivor’s Stamina increases stamina regeneration when critically hurt, pairing perfectly with Fight or Flight and Suffer in Silence. Add Unburden Roll, which makes the first dodge roll free for a few seconds after your Shield breaks, giving a clutch escape during momentum swings.

Smart Skips: Why Some Perks Stay On The Bench
Skip several melee-centric or down-state perks unless building specifically around them. Effortless Swing, reducing melee ability stamina cost, and Sky-Clearing Swing, increasing melee damage to Drones, can shine in niche scenarios, but aerial enemies limit uptime.
Down But Determined and Turtle Crawl improve survivability while downed, yet they rely on already being in trouble. A modest economy perk that generates additional resources when breaching is fine to pick while pathing to one of the strongest passives in the entire skill tree, Loaded Arms, which reduces the encumbrance impact of your equipped weapon.
Together with Broad Shoulders and Stubborn Mule, Loaded Arms lets you carry two weapons for range coverage, wear heavier armor, pack more throwables, and still loot deeply without crippling stamina.
Wrap-Up Pathing: A Cohesive, High-Value Build
To make a build that sprints, slides, and breaches through high-tier zones, keeps its stamina up under pressure, and gets richer hauls back to Speranza, you need to use Marathon Runner and Youthful Lungs to boost early stamina, In-Round Crafting to speed up topside recovery, Looter's Instincts and Looter's Luck to speed up looting, Broad Shoulders, Stubborn Mule, and Loaded Arms to increase capacity, and unlock the high-reliability Security Breach pinnacle.
