Assassin's Creed Mirage Guide | How to Unlock All the Gear Chests in Harbiyah

Here's a guide on how to unlock all the gear chests in the Harbiyah district in Assassin's Creed Mirage.

Assassin's Creed Mirage offers you 30 different gear chests spread across the five localities in Baghdad, but we begin with the six in Harbiyah.

What do gear chests really do? They can be unlocked to access new weapons, outfits, or Upgrade Schematics. There's an environmental puzzle element you have to get the hang of.

Solving these puzzles can lead you to your chests, the first of which will contain your base outfit or weapon and can be upgraded later by maxing out your Upgrade Schematics, which can also be found in these gear chests, depending on the order you open them in.

All of these gear chests can be unlocked after story completion, too, but the upgrades do help you finish it quicker.

Gear Chest 1: Zanj Uprising Outfit or Upgrade Schematic

This first one is fairly simple, but then again, you have to remember that this may not be the first gear chest you open, but we have detailed explanations for all of them, so don't worry.

You will need to get inside the Prince's Palace, and on the ground floor, you will find your chest. Get in through the entrance to retrieve it.

Gear Chest 2: Zanj Uprising Outfit or Upgrade Schematic

Approach the Harbor and enter the captain's cabin on the ship there. You will find a shelf that will be in your way. Climb over the stacked boxes that you will see to your right.

You will need to push the shelf you saw earlier towards the entrance, more specifically, towards your desired Gear Chest. Then you get the shelf towards you by tugging on it, freeing the path on the left. You should now follow the path you just found, and you'll be met with another shelf.

Again, pull it towards you, which leads to another path behind this shelf; now take this path, and you should have your very first Gear Chest right in front of you.

Gear Chest 3: Zanj Uprising Outfit or Upgrade Schematic

On top of the Khusaram Gate Guardhouse, you can retrieve this Gear Chest to fully upgrade your outfit. You must come from the south to the Guardhouse gate. From there, you can jump from the rooftop to an area that's off limits, containing enemies. The chest you seek is going to be gated.

Outside the gate, break some vases by melee attacking. Once you are done, you will find two movable shelves. You will need to push the shelf on the left forward. Then aim through the opening to knock down the vase with a Throwing Knife.

After the vase is broken, you can move the right shelf to find some other vases that you will destroy to get to your Gear Chest.

Gear Chest 4: Zanj Uprising Sword or Upgrade Schematic

The location of this chest is south of Damascus Gate Prison. In a locked-up room, downstairs in the prison, you will find the chest.

The door should be to the right, but it is locked, so use a Throwing Knife to break it. Aim through the opening that you will see to the left of the chest, and break the door lock to get in and unlock your chest.

Gear Chest 5: Zanj Uprising Sword or Upgrade Schematic

This chest is located in another off-limits area known as the Soap Boiler's District. Inside a guardhouse, you will find a ceiling that is made of wood, which you can destroy once you get in.

Use a Throwing Knife to hit the ceiling. The reticle will turn red, showing it is destructible. Once you have done that, climb up the wall to get to the room where the chest is kept.

Gear Chest 6: Zanj Uprising Sword or Upgrade Schematic

Inside a restricted area called Metal Factory, you will find the chest. The chest is on the top floor of a guard building that you can climb up using a ladder.

You can also enter from the street.
