Assassin's Creed Mirage Guide | All Lost Book Locations & How to Find Them

Here's a guide on where you can find the Lost Books and how you can get them in Assassin's Creed Mirage.

Assassin's Creed Mirage has a total of seven Lost Books, all found in various locations, which you will want to stick around for if you haven't found them yet.

Retrieving all seven Lost Books gets you the Scholar trophy. These Lost Books are like any other book in appearance; for a collectible freak, they are essential, but if you're more of a story guy, you can still get these collectibles after completing the story.

Al-Tabari: Tafsir of al-Tabari

This is the first Lost Book in the collection. It's located in Harbiyah.

The book can be found underground after you enter through the Secret Entrance, a little to the left of the Nestorian Monastery on the map.

Your Lost Book is in the next room after you push three shelves to make a hole in the wall and squeeze through it.

Kalila wa-Dimna

The second Lost Book is also found in Harbiyah.

It is found inside a locked building, which you will enter by going through an open window on the south side of the building.

You go into the upper level through the window, then get downstairs and aim your Throwing Knives through the metal bars, which you should have found upstairs as you got in. Throw it at the red keg; it explodes and unlocks the door.

Now you must get back outside and enter through the door you just opened to retrieve the Lost Book.

Al-Kwarizmi: Al-Jabr

Third in the collection and now going away from Harbiyah, this Lost Book is found in Abbasiyah.

Upper floor of a random house, which you'll enter by melee-attacking the wooden front door and then pulling a shelf to get up and find your book.

The Banu Musa: Book of Ingenious Devices

After a short stop at Abbasiyah, we are now headed to Karkh for the fourth Lost Book.

Located west of Harbor Camp on an upper floor of a house. But you get in through the east as you use a Throwing Knife to break a barred window.

You will then get in through the window and can have your hands on another Lost Book.

Al Sikkit: Diwan Abu Nu’as

This Lost Book, located in Round City, can only be obtained after the completion of the story. The door to the book will not be accessible unless you have finished the story.

The book resides inside the Palace of the Green Dome. Enter by jumping towards it from the roof of the Harem.

Proceed to the palace's southeast wall. There is a balcony you'll see that has an open door (only accessible after the story is over).

Enter through the door, retrieve the Lost Book, and get out where you came from.

Suleiman al-Tajir: Accounts of China and India

The penultimate book in the collection is found in the Wilderness region.

Head to the Tuesday Market, upstairs of a guard house; you will climb in through a ladder and retrieve your sixth Lost Book, but fifth if you are here before the story is over.

Kitab Al-Zahif

Again, found in the Wilderness, this one's a bit of a secret, as the book is unmarked on the map. Although it does not count towards region completion, you are going to need it to attain the Scholar achievement.

The book is located in the Historical Site, Seleucia-on-the-Tigris, amidst the ruins. You will need to climb up a ladder and throw a red explosive at the floor to retrieve the hidden Lost Book because the floor there can be destroyed.

After all the books you've gotten, you must go back to Al-Jahiz at the House of Wisdom and unlock the Scholar trophy by giving him the Lost Books.
