Code Violet Guide | All Cameo Locations

Cameos are miniature artifacts concealed in facility rooms and easy to miss. They are a type of surprise item that may be found in Code Violet. Every single one of them is positioned along the main walkway, the pickup site is typically off to the side wall, behind props, or in a corner that blends in with the surroundings. 

It is best to collect all six of the Curator's Piece trophies as soon as each region opens, as going backwards might be a difficult experience when you are under a lot of pressure to complete the story.

What to Look For When Hunting Cameos

Cameos are small ornamental pieces that are most noticeable when the viewer is standing close to them and facing them directly. Cameos are an example of a type of decorative piece. 

When entering a new chamber, take your time, examine the walls at chest height, and pay close attention to the spaces behind sculptures, machinery, and pipes. When there are enemies in a room, eliminating the threat first makes searching safer and faster.

Cameo #1 Location in Testing Facility

The first Cameo is in the Testing Facility, inside the Laundry Room. Once inside the laundry area, move toward the washing machines. The Cameo is hanging from one of the machines on the right side, so angle the camera toward the machine fronts rather than the room's center.

Cameo #2 Location in Preservation Facility

Within the Preservation Facility, precisely within the Plasma Heating Control Room, is where you will find the second Cameo. Proceed to the northwest corner of the room and concentrate on the pipe cluster once the room has been cleared. 

Make your way under the pipes to reach a confined, hidden area. It is installed on the wall in the tucked-away space where the Cameo is located.

Cameo #3 Location in Communications Facility

The third Cameo is in the Communications Facility and is tied to progress in the Cinderline Power Room. Unlock the south gate from the Cinderline Power Room, then enter the newly opened area and step into the control room. 

Check the left side near the door as you go in. The Cameo is positioned close to that entry point, so it is easy to grab before moving deeper.

Cameo #4 Location in Bioengineering Lab

The fourth Cameo is in the Bioengineering Lab near the Clone Monitoring Room route. From Clone Monitoring, head west into a hallway lined with statues. 

Move along the left side and look behind the statues rather than at the front details. The Cameo is hidden at the back of one of the left-side statues, so a quick camera sweep behind them usually reveals it.

Cameo #5 Location in Disposal Facility

The fifth Cameo is in the Disposal Facility, inside the Grinder Room. Step into the room and move toward the large pipes with valve wheels. The Cameo is tucked behind the second valve pipe on the right side. Get close to the pipe and tilt the camera slightly to catch the collectible against the wall.

Cameo #6 Location in Disposal Facility

The sixth Cameo is also in the Disposal Facility, inside the Sewage Overflow Room. Enter the room and take the left side through the water. Look toward the south side for a tall pillar. The Cameo sits at the base of that pillar, low and close to the structure, so keep the camera aimed downward as you approach.
