Traveling across deep water takes a lot of time in the Charting the Unknown expansion. If you want to move quickly through the sea, you need the Legendary Ocean Drifter.
This aquatic mount lets you travel across open water with ease, but the game does not hand it to you automatically. You have to locate a submerged ruin and grab it yourself. Here is how to find it in Crimson Desert Enhanced: Charting the Unknown DLC.
Getting this mount requires a quick trip out to sea and a short climb inside a flooded structure. The entire process takes only a few minutes once you know where to swim.

Head to the Forgotten Ocean Ruins
First, you need to sail or swim out toward Razanui Island. Set your map marker to the northwest of the island. You will spot the Forgotten Ocean Ruins resting out in the water.
If you already explored the area to pick up the Lumen Sword, this building will look familiar. The structure uses the exact same layout as that ruin, so you can navigate it using the same path.
Swim to the Top Level
Once you reach the outside of the Forgotten Ocean Ruins, make your way inside. You will see several openings and ceiling gaps above you in Crimson Desert Enhanced: Charting the Unknown DLC.
Swim straight up through each hole to gain height. Swim upwards until you reach the top-most floor of the structure. Once you get to the upper level you'll see one treasure chest on the platform. Open it to collect the Ancients' Chest.
Unlock the Mount
Open your main menu and head to your Inventory. Find the Ancients' Chest in your bag and press the button prompt to use it.
Doing this immediately adds the Legendary Ocean Drifter to your collection as a permanent mount, meaning you can call on it whenever you need to cross deep water in Crimson Desert Enhanced: Charting the Unknown DLC.
