A guide on all fish in Dave the Diver.

There are over one hundred species of fish to catch. This guide lists each fish and its primary location. Note that fish can sometimes appear outside their listed zone; for example, White Shrimp may appear in the Glacier Passage despite being listed for Blue Hole Medium Depth. Some species only appear during boss battles or specific photo opportunities, which are noted accordingly.

Fish in the Blue Hole Shallows (0-50m)
The Blue Hole Shallows extend down to 50 meters and contain the majority of species. Several fish will not appear until you progress the story. Daytime fish include: Clownfish, Comber, Cardinal Fish, Sea Goldie, Pyramid Butterflyfish, Yellow Tang, Blackspot Seabream, Orbicular Batfish, Blue Tang, Rainbow Wrasse, Lagoon Triggerfish, Small Spotted Dart, Yellowback Fusilier, Ornate Wrasse, Longfin Batfish, Mediterranean Parrotfish, Redtoothed Triggerfish, Black and White Snapper, Green Humphead Parrotfish, Barrel Jellyfish, Fried Egg Jellyfish, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Flame Angelfish, Sheepshead, Emperor Angelfish, Stingray, Marbled Electric Ray, Whiteleg Shrimp, Striped Catfish, Purple Sea Urchin, Shortfin Mako, Marlin, and Thresher Shark.
Fish found during both day and night include: Whitetip Reefshark, Starry Puffer, Red Lionfish, and Titan Triggerfish. Night-exclusive fish include: Moray Eel, Blacktip Reefshark, Copper Shark, Box Jellyfish, and Zebra Shark.
Photo spot encounters, which occur during specific missions, include: Baby Humpback Whale (Day), Pink Dolphin (Day), Manta Ray (Night), Loggerhead Turtle (Day), and Red-Lipped Batfish (Night). Boss encounters in this zone are: Truck Hermit Crab, Mantis Shrimp, and Great White Shark Klaus.
Fish in the Blue Hole Medium Depth (50-130m)
The Blue Hole Medium Depth ranges from 50 to 130 meters. Daytime fish here are: Bluehead Tilefish, Clown Frogfish, Painted Comber, Bigeye Scad, Striped Red Mullet, Mackerel Scad, Harlequin Hind, Bigeye Trevally, Coral Trout, Grey Triggerfish, Atlantic Bonito, White Trevally, Cuttlefish, Dusky Grouper, Atlantic Mackerel, Giant Trevally, White Spotted Jellyfish, Narrow-Barred Spanish Mackerel, Atlantic Anglerfish, Sally Lightfoot Crab, Black Tiger Shrimp, Sailfish, Smooth Hammerhead, and White Shrimp.
Fish found during both day and night are: Tiger Shark, Great Barracuda, and Longnose Sawshark. The Humboldt Squid and Devil Scorpionfish are night-exclusive. The Giant Squid is a boss encounter.

Fish in the Blue Hole Depths (130-250m)
The Blue Hole Depths span 130 to 250 meters. Daytime fish include: Chambered Nautilus, Fangtooth, Frilled Shark, Bluespotted Stargazer, Rhinochimaeridae, Spider Crab, Megamouth Shark, Cookiecutter Shark, Clione, Sea Toad, Salmon Snailfish, Pacific Fanfish, Threetooth Puffer, Comb Jelly, Blood-belly Comb Jellyfish, and Red Bream.
Photo spot encounters are: Opah (Day), Oarfish (Day), and Leatherback Turtle (Day). Boss encounters are: Clione Queen, Giant Wolf Eel, and Goblin Shark.
Fish in the Glacier Passage
The Glacier Passage connects the Sea People Village and the Glacial Area. All fish here are found during the day: Peacock Squid, Dumbo Octopus, Barreleye, Blobfish, Vampire Squid, and Pelican Eel.
Fish in the Glacial Area
The Glacial Area is unlocked later and is only accessible during the day. Fish in the main area are: Arctic Cod, Gelatinous Snailfish, Antarctic Octopus, Greenland Shark, Polar Eelpout, Porbeagle Shark, Ice Fish, Capelin, Narwhal, Haddock, and Starry Skate. Fish in the First Glacial Cave are: Arctic Telescope Fish and Alaska Pollock. Fish in the Third Glacial Cave are: Lumpfish and Snub-nosed Spiny Eel.
Photo spot encounters are: Southern Right Whale Dolphin, Bathynomus (First Glacial Cave), and Lion's Mane Jellyfish. The Phantom Jellyfish in the Second Glacial Cave is a boss.
Fish in the Hydrothermal Vents
The Hydrothermal Vents is the final area. Fish found here are: Waptia Fieldensis, Pikaia, Allenypterus, Qingmendous, Falcatus, Drepanaspis, Dunkleosteus, Xenacanthus, and Megalograptus (found in the Divine Tree Control Room). Photo spot encounters are: Arandaspis and Coelacanth. Boss encounters are: Helicoprion, Kronosaurus, and Yawie.

All Seahorses
You can catch Seahorses throughout the game using the Bug Net. They can be used in dishes or registered for Seahorse Racing. Their locations by depth are: White Seahorse (130-250m), Big-Belly Seahorse (0-50m), Crowned Seahorse (130-250m), Dwarf Seahorse (50-130m), Giraffe Seahorse (50-130m), Hedgehog Seahorse (50-130m), Jayakar's Seahorse (0-50m), Lined Seahorse (130-250m), Long-Snouted Seahorse (0-50m), Pacific Seahorse (0-50m), Spotted Seahorse (130-250m), Tiger-Tail Seahorse (50-130m), Spiny Seahorse (50-130m). The Zebra Seahorse is in the Limestone Cave. The Weedy Seadragon and Leafy Seadragon are in the Glacial Area. The Ruby Seadragon is in the Hydrothermal Vents.
