While exploring the Blue Hole in Dave the Diver, you will collect many different items from the environment. One of the more unusual items you can find is Cat Food, which is used to interact with Momo, the cat that stays inside your sushi bar. Feeding Momo is optional, but it is tied to a hidden achievement, making it worth your attention as you progress through the game.

Feeding Momo at the Sushi Bar

Momo is a cat that regularly appears inside your sushi bar during the daytime. To feed Momo, you first need to obtain Cat Food during your dives. Once you have Cat Food in your inventory, return to the sushi bar during the day. Walk up to Momo and interact with the cat, then select the Feed option to give the food.

Feeding Momo does not provide an immediate reward or gameplay effect. However, if you continue to feed Momo multiple times over the course of the game, you will eventually unlock the Momo’s Secret achievement.

Where to Find Cat Food in the Blue Hole

Cat Food is not guaranteed to appear early, as it is a random drop found during dives in the Blue Hole. You may need to spend several hours diving before you encounter it for the first time, so patience is required.

You can obtain Cat Food from special ingredient containers scattered throughout the Blue Hole. These containers appear as red pots and can contain different items, including Soy Sauce and Miso. Each red pot gives a random item when opened, and there is no fixed method to force Cat Food to appear. To improve your chances, you should open every red pot you come across during your dives.
