Dave the Diver Guide | How to Catch White Shrimp

A guide on how to catch white shrimp in Dave the Diver.

Game Guide by Groot on  Jan 09, 2026

In Dave the Diver, you will rely on different tools to collect unique sea creatures, and the Bug Net plays an important role in catching smaller species. One such creature is the White Shrimp, which can be difficult to locate due to limited in-game guidance. While the Marinca App provides some basic information, it does not fully reflect where you will consistently find this species. This guide explains where and how you can catch White Shrimp based on reliable in-game encounters.

Availability and General Location

When you check the Marinca App, it states that White Shrimp can appear during both day and night in the Blue Hole Medium Depth, reaching depths of up to 130 meters. While this information is technically correct, you may not encounter them regularly in this area during normal dives. Relying only on the app can make the search longer than necessary.

Best Place to Find White Shrimp

You will find White Shrimp most consistently in the Glacial Passage. Even though this area is not listed as a known habitat for them in the Marinca App, repeated visits confirm their presence there. During daytime dives, the Glacial Passage provides the highest chance of locating White Shrimp without unnecessary exploration elsewhere.

Day and Night Behaviour

White Shrimp only seem to go to the Glacial Passage during the day, so that is the best place to grow them. They can show up in the Blue Hole at night, but it's not as easy to predict when they'll show up. If you want to get the same results every time, you should dive during the day in the Glacial Passage and catch them quickly with the Bug Net.
