Hades features a Companion system that allows you to summon powerful allies to assist you during your escape attempts. These Companions can turn the tide of challenging encounters and provide crucial support when facing formidable enemies.
Understanding Companions in Hades
Companions are items that you can wear that temporarily call friends into a fight. You can put these things on in the field before you start your run, but you can't change them while you're trying to get away.

Because each Companion can only be used once per room, you need to be smart about how you use them to be successful in Hades.
There are six different Companions in the game, and each one has its own powers and steps that must be taken to unlock it. Unless Hades specifically says it's okay during the fight, you can't use a partner against him.
Upgrading Your Companions
Ambrosia can be used to improve your friends, which lets you call them more times during a single underworld escape. Each update costs Ambrosia, and it costs ten Ambrosia to get all of them to work at their best.
When your Companion is fully upgraded, you can use five summons per run, which gives you a lot more tactical choices as you go on your journey in Hades.

Obtaining Antos
Before you can claim Antos as your powerful partner, you have to build a strong bond with Achilles. First, give Achilles six Nectar to start his favor quest. Once you've done this first step toward friendship, his growth will be stopped until you do what he asks.
Achilles and Patroclus need to communicate with each other more than once. When you meet Nyx, keep talking to Achilles and Patroclus until she offers to help you find the deal Achilles made with Hades in Hades.
This deal needs to be revised so that Achilles can visit Patroclus in the Elysian Fields. This change costs five Diamonds, so make sure you have enough saved up before you try this step. Achilles will greet Patroclus and open his final heart level after paying the price and changing the pact.
Present Ambrosia to Achilles once his relationship reaches the maximum level, and he will reward you with Antos in Hades.

Using Antos Effectively
Antos summons both Achilles and Patroclus to fight alongside you during battle. These legendary warriors deliver 1,500 damage to two different enemies in sequence, making this Companion most effective in chambers containing multiple foes.
Plan your Antos usage for encounters with at least two enemies to maximize the damage output and tactical advantage this Companion provides.
