Defeating Disgraced Chef Lugoli for the Pickled Muckmaggot

The Great Taste of Pharloom quest needs the Pickled Muckmaggot, which is a rare item. To get it, you have to fight the tough boss Disgraced Chef Lugoli in Sinner's Road.

This guide tells you how to get to the boss room, find shortcuts, and keep the Pickled Muckmaggot safe.

Reaching the Boss Chamber

From the bench in Sinner's Road, head east, descending to the lowest floor. Continue moving east, clearing out Muckroaches along the way. Use your double jump to reach a pipe that leads further into the area.

Before entering the boss chamber, locate and hit the nearby lever to open a shortcut. This shortcut makes return trips much faster, which is especially useful if you fall in battle.

Starting the Battle

To initiate the fight, ring the dinner bell inside the chamber. Two Roachservers will appear first. Defeat them to trigger the arrival of the true boss: Disgraced Chef Lugoli.

Strategy Against Disgraced Chef Lugoli

One of the harder fights in Act 2 is this one. Lugoli is good at strikes that are strong and require quick reactions:

Butt-Slam Attack: Time carefully dodges to avoid getting hit.

Muckmaggot Balls: Get rid of these objects before they hit you too many times.

Constant Pressure: Ranged weapons are very helpful because they let you do damage from a distance.

The key strategy is to out-damage her, staying aggressive while managing her patterns and avoiding heavy hits.

You will have the Pickled Muckmaggot once you beat Disgraced Chef Lugoli. After getting it, leave the room and rest on the nearby bench to keep going.
