Running around blind is never fun, especially in an area like Wormways. But in a game like Hollow Knight: Silksong, it is kind of tricky to get the maps.

In this guide, I will help you find the map of Wormways in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Where do You Need to go

To begin, travel from the fast-travel point near Shellwood. If you have already unlocked the area to the left of this fast travel point, you can head there directly. If not, simply proceed down and then turn left, as both paths eventually converge on the same zone.

Starting from the fast-travel point, move through the passages until you reach an area with drop-downs. You should descend carefully—first drop down one section, then continue all the way to the bottom, where you will find a door to another section. From here, make your way left into the Wormway region.

Before you go in too far, it's a good idea to rest at a nearby bench or checkpoint in case you die. Continue navigating forward until you encounter a vertical section, then make your way across to the left by drifting across platforms until you reach another opening.

For finding this map, you don't need advanced traversal skills like wall jumping here, and careful drops and normal movement are enough to get you where you need to go.

You keep moving to the left until you come across a drop with spikes, where you head right and keep dropping downwards, moving to the right a bit until you come to a region that's a mix between Moss Home and Wormways.

Here, you start moving to the left and continue moving left, dodging the worms that emerge from the ceiling. Then, you head to the section on the left, jumping over a temporary platform.

This is the place where Shakra is supposed to appear. If Shakra is present, you can purchase the Wormway map immediately. However, you should also know that Shakra doesn't always show up here, especially if you have already progressed through some stages of the game.

If you are there and Shakra is not, do not panic, as there is a backup method. Generally, Shakra's presence can depend on whether you're in Act 1 or Act 2 of the story. In Act 1, the first location to check if you cannot find Shakra is Bone Bottom.

Travel there and head all the way to the right, where you will find a set of ledges you can climb. Often, Shakra relocates to this spot; if Shakra still isn't there, the likely explanation is that your game has advanced into Act 2.

Once you're in Act 2, Shakra will typically reappear in one of the newly unlocked towns. At that point, the map vendor may be waiting in a place you haven't fully explored or where you haven't spoken to them before.

If you are still in Act 1, you can try locating him in other areas of Act 1 and purchasing it from Shakra there.
