KLETKA Guide | How to Descent Early

Here’s an easy guide on how to descent early in Kletka

When you first play Kletka, you might find the game's system complicated. As long as the elevator is going down, the floors will keep changing. The elevator has more purposes than just transportation. It is the main focus of your run. The run can end quickly if you stop at the wrong spot, overlook the fuel gauge, or revive at the wrong time.

Many early failures are caused by players' unplanned reactions. Your attention shifts as you understand how the drop operates. Some of you are starting to gain control over risk, information, timing, and fuel. You are going to start deciding when to stop and when to move, rather than responding to every floor.

Stabilize Before You Explore

At the start of a run, your goal is stability. Loot should not be your first focus. When you see doors and halls, you may want to explore them right away. Instead, check the Fuel Gauge in the Elevator first. If you leave the first few floors with very little fuel, no repair option, and no Bottles, your run becomes harder. The early part of the game is about control, not depth. Make sure the Elevator can keep moving without fuel pressure. When your fuel is stable, you can decide your next move with a clear plan.

Upgrade Information, Not Only Power

Early upgrades should help you see what is coming next. Many players ignore the Scanner at the start. They upgrade tools without thinking about what they really need. The Scanner shows useful details about future floors. It can reveal shops, loot floors, and event risks. When you know what is ahead, you do not need to guess. Guessing often causes early mistakes. A strong start in Kletka comes from reducing uncertainty. Information helps you stay calm and make better choices.

Not Every Floor Deserves a Stop

You do not need to stop at every floor. Many players see a hallway and stop the Elevator to check it. Each stop costs fuel and time. It also increases danger. Before you stop, ask yourself if the floor will improve your situation. If your health and fuel are low, random exploration will not help. Sometimes the best decision is to skip the floor and keep moving down. Players who reach deeper floors often choose their stops carefully.

Respect Emergency Stops

If the Elevator runs out of fuel, an Emergency Stop happens. The Elevator stops on a random floor. That floor may not be safe. Your team may face danger without preparation. Many early runs end this way. To avoid this, always keep enough fuel on hand before continuing your descent. This allows you to choose where the Elevator stops. Control over your stop location is very important in Kletka.

Treat Bottles Like Long-Term Power

Bottles may look small at the start, but they are very useful later. You can use Bottles as currency in shops. They also help with revival options. You can miss out on the opportunity to purchase something significant later if you spend them up front on little issues. Try to keep a steady supply of Bottles. When a run reaches deeper floors, your Bottle count often decides whether you can recover from a mistake.

Revive Smart — Or Do Not Revive

Reviving teammates at the wrong moment can cause bigger problems. If a teammate falls into a dangerous area and you rush to revive them, another player may go down as well. A safer choice is to stay inside the Elevator after the area is clear. This gives you more control over the situation. Sometimes the best choice is to step back rather than risk a revival. In Kletka, careful decisions often work better than quick reactions.

Use Small Mechanics to Gain Advantage

Small actions can make your run smoother. You can throw Bottles to trigger traps instead of using the Wrench. This helps preserve the tool's durability. You can also jump while moving through slime to keep your speed. Marking dangerous areas can help teammates avoid mistakes. Each action is small, but together they reduce problems during exploration. These small habits help your team keep moving without delays.

Approach Event Floors With Preparation

Event Floors often bring more activity and more rewards. Because of this, many players rush into them. The result depends on your preparation. If you reach an Event Floor with extra fuel, a healing item, and good communication with teammates, you can handle the situation better. If you enter while your team is unstable, the run may end there. The timing of your decision matters more than the reward itself.

Assign Roles Immediately in Co-Op

When participating in team runs, players must plan their actions. Individual exploration slows down decision-making. The Scanner is monitorable by one player. Someone else can examine the fuel gauge. Call retreats or make shop decisions. Clear roles help the team move faster and avoid confusion. Even simple role allocations improve the flow of the run.

Build a Cushion Before You Chase Depth

A lot of new players aim to get to deeper floors as quickly as they can. It is helpful to start by creating a resource cushion. Later floors are easier to manage with more gasoline, more bottles, and some improvements. When you move downward without these resources, the run often turns into recovery. Recovery runs rarely go far. In Kletka, steady preparation helps you reach deeper floors more often.
