If you want a strong Ground- and Dark-type line, Sandile is an easy pickup once you reach the desert. It spawns out in the open, so you do not need any special weather or tricky setup. You just need to search the right side of the desert, catch one, and then level it until the evolution chain finishes.

Where To Find Sandile In Paldea

Sandile is found in the desert and is easy to spot there. Ride into the desert and scan the area as you move across the sand. If you are having trouble, check deeper in the desert. It is said to be mostly in the back of the desert, so riding farther in can speed up the search.

How To Evolve Sandile Into Krokorok

After you catch Sandile, the first evolution is a simple level requirement. Sandile evolves at level 29. You can reach level 29 through battles, or you can use experience items if you want to speed it up.

How To Evolve Krokorok Into Krookodile

Once you have Krokorok, keep leveling it. The next evolution happens at level 40. When Krokorok reaches level 40, it evolves into Krookodile. This finishes the full line, with no extra items or special conditions needed.

Fast Leveling Tip In The Desert

If you want to evolve quickly, fight wild Pokémon nearby while you stay in the desert zone, or use candies to speed up the leveling process. When you reach level 29 and then level 40, both evolutions happen at the same time, and you can use Krookodile right away.
