Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Guide | All Yellow Stakes and Groundblight Shrine Locations

Pull every Yellow Stake around the lake to open the Groundblight Shrine and catch Ting-Lu.

If you want Ting-Lu in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, you must remove the seal first. That seal is tied to the hidden Yellow Stakes. Each stake you pull weakens the lock on the shrine.

Once all the yellow stakes are removed, the shrine opens, and you can start the legendary encounter. Most of these stakes sit around the same lake area, so you can clear them in one smooth route if you follow the landmarks.

Yellow Stake Locations Around The Lake

The first Yellow Stake is on a small island. Open your map and head to the little island area shown in the route. When you arrive, the stake is easy to spot near the edge. Pull it out and move on.

The next Yellow Stake is still by the lake. Check the nearby shoreline zone and look for the stake placed close to the water. This one is another quick grab once you reach the correct spot.

Another Yellow Stake requires passing through a cave. Head toward the cave entrance near the lake region, go through it, and climb up. This one is harder because you need to climb to reach the exact ledge where the stake sits. Once you are up there, it is right in front of you.

Cliff And Ridge Yellow Stakes

One Yellow Stake is on a cliff. If you do not have a climbing option, there is still a workaround. You can reach it by falling through a hole into the correct area. Use the lake as your orientation point, then line up the cliff location on the map and pull the stake out once you land near it.

Another Yellow Stake sits on a small ridge near the lake. Follow the ridge line and keep your camera angled outward so you can spot it quickly. The lake remains the main landmark, so if you can see water below, you are in the right general zone.

The final Yellow Stake is farther from the lake than the earlier ones. It is still on a ridge, but set farther away. Use the map location shown in the route, travel out to that ridge, and pull the last stake to fully break the seal.

Groundblight Shrine Location

After all Yellow Stakes are removed, head to the Groundblight Shrine. This shrine is easier to reach because there is a clear path leading toward it. Open your map, line up the shrine marker area shown in the route, and follow the path until you reach the shrine entrance. Once the seal is gone, interact with the shrine to begin the Ting-Lu encounter.
