Slime Rancher 2 Guide | How to Unlock Hyper Slimes

In Slime Rancher 2, a Hyper Slime is a special type of Slime that can only be unlocked after solving a hidden puzzle.

Requirements for Unlocking Hyper Slimes

Before starting, you have to make sure the following items are ready: Hunter Plort ×1, Radiant Projectors ×3. 

Both of these are essential for progressing through the puzzle that leads to Hyper Slimes.

Where to Begin

There is a specific location shown on the map. Marking it for easier navigation is optional, but it is highly recommended. Once you're near the area, it's easy to identify. You will see a staircase leading upward, which will be your starting point. 

Step 1: Locate the Stairs

After you arrive, find the pair of stairs and move up. At the top, there will be a structure that activates once it is interacted with.

Step 2: Activate the Platforms

You will see three platforms rise from the ground once the initial structure lowers. After that, place the Radiant Projectors on these platforms. You have to carefully match the correct layout.

Also, remember that it is important that the projector lights must glow yellow. If the lights appear blue, the mechanism will not activate. After you align them correctly, the nearby door beside the light bulb will open.

Step 3: Enter the Door and Use the Jetpack

After that, you have to head through the newly opened door. Then a jetpack is needed for this part. You have to look above to spot another doorway, then fly up to reach it.

The correct doorway is easy to spot, as it appears elevated compared to the main passage.

Step 4: Find the Hunter Statue

After you enter, you will see a locked door that blocks the main path. Instead of approaching it, turn to the right. Here you will see a Hunter Statue. You have to insert the Hunter Plort into the statue to unlock the next area.

Step 5: Discover the Hyper Slimes

After activating the Hunter Statue, you have to move further to the right side of the newly opened room. This path leads directly to the chamber where the Hyper Slimes are waiting.

With these steps completed, the Hyper Slimes are unlocked and ready to interact with.
