In Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, you need to have good weapons to deal with enemies. The Crooked Scythe is a great choice for your Melee Build.

Here's how to get it, which was added to the game in the Bonus Content 2 DLC in March 2026.

Locating the Crooked Scythe

This Open World RPG weapon can be obtained in two main ways. This weapon can be found as a drop as an Exquisite Unidentified Item during the Wyrdness.

But the easiest way is to buy it from a merchant. This will require a trip to Cuanacht in Act Two.

Using the Blacksmith

You'll need to purchase it from the blacksmith in Cuanacht called Beor. However, he must have his shop open and items available for you to purchase.

In particular, you need to complete the Change of Heart quest so that Beor is available to trade. When he is available, the Crooked Scythe should be available in his normal shop inventory for purchase in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon.

Using the Crooked Scythe

The Crooked Scythe has special mechanics that offer a new way of playing. Each attack with this weapon has a 10% chance to land a 500% damage attack.

The downside to this potential is that your Critical Hits no longer do any bonus damage. This makes it a high-payoff weapon that focuses on getting random high-damage blows, rather than a Crit Build.
