Game Guide by Ragib Rawnak on Aug 07, 2025
This guide tells you everything you need to know about getting epic things in a variety of ways, such as by farming bosses, completing quests, and gambling.
You'll learn the best places to look for these rare things, the enemies you need to kill, and how to get them in Titan Quest II.

The Epic Hippokampos Scapula (Boss Drop)
If you beat the Hippokampos Boss, you can get the epic Hippokampos Scapula. This boss only shows up in a specific spot, and if you win it, it might drop the epic item.
Shadow Sting Spear (Boss Drop)
Finding the Pan Boss in the upper part of the map is where you can get the Shadow Sting Spear.
It usually takes about 60 kills to get this item's drop, so farming it takes some time.
Aegis of Laconia Shield (Boss Drop)
By visiting the Moirai Temple dungeon, you can get the Aegis of Laconia Shield. Find the secret area inside the temple and the hidden switch that raises a platform.
This switch triggers a secret boss fight, where you can get the shield epic in Titan Quest II.
Epic Harpe (Boss Drop)
The Moirai Temple is also where you can get the epic Harpe by defeating Dysepilogos.
You have to beat the Dysepilogos over and over in the same part of the cave. If you keep farming, you'll finally get the epic drop.
Kaenas’ Sword (Quest Reward)
Helping a specific NPC in the top right side of the map with their quest is a way to get Kaenas’ Sword. This is a guaranteed way to come up with an epic Sword.

Katharsis Dagger (Quest Reward)
To get the Katharsis Dagger, you have to finish a long chain of quests with the female NPC Ianthe. You need to give her Ancient Embers and complete all the tasks she assigns to you.
After you've done everything she asked, she'll give you the Katharsis Dagger as her last gift in Titan Quest II.

Scavengers (RNG-Based Drops)
The Scavenger is in the upper part of the map, and you can gamble for epic things there using your Gold Coins.
Success rates vary, but you have a chance to get epics and green items by using this method.

Even though it's pricey, it gives you another way to get amazing gear if farming bosses doesn't work in Titan Quest II.
