Here's a guide on how to find your way to Grim in Tomb Raider.

You've got a long trek ahead to find Grim. The route is loaded with collectibles, and you'll hit several combat encounters across different areas, so be ready for a fight.

Initial Route and Traversal

Start by crossing one of the rope bridges that the enemies left behind, but loot the nearby bodies first. Keep your eyes peeled for collectibles in the areas ahead. Head toward the upper gallery near the Cranes to the northwest.

You've got two options here—take the lower path or use a shortcut. For the shortcut, climb onto the roof of the nearest hut, then grab the Zip-Line and ride it west to get there faster.

First Combat Encounter

Head north from the zip-line landing. When you reach the gallery, climb to the upper ledges. From this elevated position, you can ambush a group of enemies located to the northeast. Start the battle by detonating an explosive barrel to kill at least one guard. Fight the remaining enemies normally.

Be aware that one guard uses Fire Arrows. Do not remain in one piece of cover for too long, as these arrows can set it ablaze and destroy it. Clear the area of all hostiles.

Progressing East and Second Engagement

Head east to the ledge where the last guards were. The quickest way is to slide down another zip line.

Move carefully so you don't miss any collectibles. When you land, more enemies will show up to the east. Fight them from a distance, but keep an eye out for explosives and a sniper on a gallery to your right.

Approaching the Windmill

Go east from the ledge. Here, you can either jump forward to the next ledge to keep following the main objective—just watch out for the windmill wing—or drop down to explore for collectibles and the second optional Tomb.

No matter which path you take, once you reach the main floor of the Windmill, a new group of enemies will attack. Since the space is tight, use firearms or your Climbing Axe for close combat. Watch out for dynamite being thrown at you.

Ascending the Windmill and Platform Ride

On the main floor, find a climbable wall to reach a higher ledge. After you climb up, turn around and wait for the moving platform to pass. Jump onto it when it arrives.

The platform will take you close to a tower, and a cut-scene will play where Grim warns you about an ambush. When the platform gets near a safe ledge, jump to it. Attack the guards right away by shooting the explosive barrels.

Final Ambush and Combat

Once you've taken out the enemies on the ledge, jump down. This will trigger the final group of enemies to appear. Use cover as you fight. The guards will shoot at you, throw dynamite, and toss Molotov Cocktails.

Aim carefully and keep using explosive barrels to help you. Some guards will eventually reach your platform—take them out quickly with your gun or Climbing Axe. Keep fighting until a cut-scene starts. During the battle, pick up ammo and take cover if Lara gets hurt.
