In Tomb Raider Multiplayer, you participate in matches across several modes where you work toward objectives, earn experience, and progress through levels. If you want to increase your level without depending on other players, you can use a structured solo approach. This guide explains how each mode functions and then outlines how you can reach Level 60 through a solo method in Rescue Beach.
Multiplayer Overview
Multiplayer contains four primary modes: Rescue, Team Deathmatch, Cry For Help, and Free For All. These modes take place across maps such as Beach, Shrine, Chasm, Underground, and Monastery. Understanding how each mode operates helps you identify the most suitable one for solo progression. In Rescue, the Survivors must carry a required number of medic packs back to their camp to win. The Solarii win by eliminating the designated number of Survivors.

When a Survivor drops a medic pack and does not retrieve it within roughly 36 seconds, the pack relocates to a random point on the map. In Team Deathmatch, the Survivors and Solarii work to eliminate members of the opposing faction. The team that reaches the required kill total first wins. In Cry For Help, the Survivors activate and defend radio towers. Multiple Survivors standing on the same tower accelerate the activation process.
The Solarii attempt to stop these activations by defeating Survivors and collecting their batteries. Both factions work toward a target number of tower activations or batteries collected. In Free For All, you act independently. Every player is an opponent, regardless of faction. A player who secures kills without dying becomes the Executioner and gains three additional potential kills. Completing these three kills determines the winner.
Preparing for Solo Levelling
For solo levelling, you will focus on Rescue Beach. This map works for solo progression because the medic pack and salvage crate locations remain consistent, and the layout is straightforward. Other maps either cover larger areas or include paths that make movement less direct, and their salvage crates are scattered. The remaining modes require at least one additional player and do not generate experience as efficiently as Rescue. Begin by entering Multiplayer and selecting Create Private Match. This prevents other players from joining and disrupting your session.

After entering the lobby, open Match Option and set the match duration to 20 minutes. Choose 15–20 medic packs, with 20 offering the best experience gain. The Solarii kill requirement does not affect the method, so you may leave it unchanged or increase it. The number of rounds—three, five, or seven—depends on your preference, as it does not influence the strategy. When all settings are prepared, start the match.
Executing the Solo Method
If you begin as a Survivor, start locating medic packs positioned around the map. Carry each pack to the Survivor camp, which is the circular area near the water. Delivering a medic pack from maximum distance grants 500 experience points, while securing a pack at the camp yields 750 additional experience. You may choose between two approaches. You can deliver nearly all packs, leaving one remaining, then search for salvage crates. Opening salvage crates grants salvages, and using Advanced Looting adds an extra 100 salvages to each crate’s total.

The alternative approach is to collect salvage while still delivering medic packs. The first method is more stable because leaving a single pack ensures you do not unintentionally complete the match early. This lets you finish gathering salvage before turning in the final medic pack for maximum experience within the time limit.
