Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Guide | Best Warlock Build

This Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Warlock Build is all about debuffs. You stack several negative effects, then use poison to keep them from fading. Heavy armor keeps you alive, and the damage stays high from start to finish.

Why the Build Is So Strong

Every single hit increases in severity when an adversary is carrying numerous debuffs. Spirit Vulnerability, Power Drop, and Damage Amplification are examples of effects that have the power to weaken targets and shred Spirit more quickly, which ultimately results in more openings for Fatal Strike.

Stat Setup: Wood First, Metal Second, Earth Third

Put most points into Wood Virtue. It boosts Wood-scaling damage and raises HP a lot, turning you into a tank. Build Metal Virtue next because it supports spell casting and is required for Venom Snare. 

Make it a goal to achieve forty points in Metal Virtue so that you can cast the spell. Adding Earth Virtue will help you manage your weight and maintain a load of about 60% for B Agility. This will allow you to dodge and deflect with ease, even when wearing heavy armor.

Core Set Bonus: Grace of Lingbao

The core is the Grace of Lingbao set bonus. It helps apply Spirit Vulnerability on Enemy upon Martial Arts and Power Drop on Enemy upon Wizardry Spell, while supporting more serious damage through Damage Amplification and longer negative-effect uptime. 

The Lingbao principle is the reward that stands out the most. Increased damage is dealt to the enemy for each debuff, up to a maximum of three. You receive a 22% increase in damage on that target while you have three debuffs active on that target.

Weapons and Effects to Target

Use a fast main weapon, such as Bronze Dual Swords, to build status quickly. Prioritize Lightning Attack Power and bonuses like Damage to Enemies with Shock. 

It is recommended that the Dual Halberds of Lady Hao be used as a backup, preferably with Lightning Attack Power and Power Drop on Enemy upon Martial Arts proficiency. If it adds Enemy Status Effect Accumulation, a Repeating Crossbow is a straightforward choice for a ranged weapon.

Heavy Armor and Accessories

Run with full heavy armor to achieve a high level of resistance and protection. The Lightning Attack Power should be applied to all pieces. Then Shock Accumulation On Enemies and Poison Accumulation On Enemies should be added such that both statuses are applied in every single strike.

Helpful extras include Slow On Enemy Upon Wizardry Spell and Power Gain Upon Deflecting A Critical Blow. For accessories, focus on rolls that include Lightning Attack Power.

Spells to Equip

Keep your Lightning Weapon ready so that you can quickly apply the lightning status. If timing is off, you can withstand a strong hit by using Perfect Restoral. After the debuffs have been accumulated, you can cast Heaven's Rage for a burst. Venom Snare should always be equipped, as poison is the factor that determines the outcome of the loop.

Boss Rotation: Poison Lock, Then Attack

Applying poison and activating debuffs from Wizardry Spells can be accomplished by opening with Venom Snare. You can stack extra debuffs by casting Lightning Weapon, landing one or two hits to apply lightning, and then adding a Martial Arts blow to your attack.

Take advantage of opportunities to use Fatal Strike when Spirit breaks. Watch the debuff icons near the top left of the HUD. Poison functions as an anchor for the timer. As long as poison is active, other debuffs will often stop ticking down until the poison is no longer present. Refresh poison with Venom Snare, and the rest of the debuffs stay on the enemy for most of the fight.

For regular stages, swapping one slot to Lightning Bolt can speed up clears on low-morale enemies while still adding another easy debuff source.
