Activision Confirms Next Call of Duty Is Black Ops

Those Black Ops 4 rumors were true, Activision has confirmed that Treyarch is currently developing the next Call of Duty game Black Ops

During an earnings call Activision, the next chapter of the saga coming this year in Q4, which means between October and December. The game will be developed by Treyarch, which is the studio behind the Black Ops series.
“This fall, we plan to continue to exceed fans’ expectations with a new release from Treyarch — the creators of Black Ops, the most successful subfranchise in Call of Duty history — and we cannot wait to share more about that with you on future calls,” said Coddy Johnson, president and chief operating officer of Activision.
The official Treyarch Twitter account did state "looking forward to the year ahead". Perhaps we'll hear more at this year's E3.
Given that Black Ops is one of the most popular branch of the franchise and Call of Duty: WWII's recent success Activision could be looking at another successful year.
