A new expansion for the Elder Scrolls Online set in the Red Mountain?

The Elder Scrolls Online may get a new expansion this year.

A video featuring molten rock was released via Twitter was released confirming a special stream hosted by publisher Bethesda on Tuesday, January 31st at 2 PM EST.

Many fans on Twitter are theorising that the update may be linked to The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind's 15th anniversary, which will come in May. The area being hinted at is called The Red Mountain, an area with Vvardenfell.

The Elder Scrolls: Online is now available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
