Among the Sleep Wakes Up Next Week

In May of 2013 Krillbite Studio saw their horror adventure game Among the Sleep successfully funded through Kickstarter, surpassing their $200,000 goal with more than 8,000 backers. After a year of development updates, plenty of YouTube videos and a slew of screenshots, fans are finally getting close to playing Among the Sleep in its entirety.

Among the Sleep has players assuming the role of a two year old child who flees his home after an emotional event takes place. Armed with a teddy bear, the toddler attempts to find safety from a dark, dreamlike world. Waiting for news of a game's release date can be dark as well, but soon this will clear for Among the Sleep fans as Krillbite Studio has announced the game's official release date, along with releasing a new trailer.

Krillbite Studio has revealed that Among the Sleep is "basically ready," and will release on PC, Mac and Linux on May 29 and on PS4 "a while after." The former build will be available to download through Steam, GOG and the Humble Store.

The Krillbite Team is surely ecstatic, but will push through the next week, bringing Among the Sleep as close to perfection as possible writing, "There’s always a small detail that can be improved, a bug that can be found and quashed, and we will not rest until our tired fingers push the great and powerful Release Button in one week!"
