Thousands of public matches of Among Us were heavily raided by bots that would flood messages threatening destroying user’s devices and support for US president Donald Trump. InnerSloth rapidly became aware of the issue and sent out a hotfix. They also advise to avoid public matches and play only with trusted friends.
Hello everyone, We're are super duper aware of the current hacking issue and we're looking into it. We will be pushing out an emergency server update so people who are in game will get kicked from games. Please play private games or with people that you trust!!! Bare with us!!

The hacker identified himself as Eris Loris, who also claimed to have previously distributed cheats for Apex Legends. Loris’ support of Trump is serious and hopes his bots served as a form of recruitment to the Republican party. Loris stated that deploying the bots was easy and found the players’ reactions humorous. They also blamed InnerSloth for not expanding their team to more than three people, despite the game becoming a huge success.
