Battlefield 5’s Firestorm Battle Royale Mode Arrives on March 25

Battlefield V's firestorm battle royale multiplayer mode did not launch with the game and was instead set to release this 2019. Now, the expansion is set to launch this March 25th.

The mode called Firestorm will feature 64 players, either alone or with a team, with the goal of being the last man standing while the map shrinks. The landscape will include a variety of air and land areas peppers with vehicles. You can watch the trailer here.

It'll be interesting to see how Battlefield V's version of battle royale holds up. With Apex Legends, another EA-published title, still holding strong it's likely that only the most dedicated players will invest time into this mode.

Battlefield V is now available for PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
